The sixth and final workshop for FAST TRACK YOUR BUSINESS SUCCESS – Effective Strategies for Growth will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at The Leeds Historic Depot hosted by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce.
This workshop will be facilitated by BancorpSouth which will cover Financial Management – Understanding this Critical Practice. Financial Management is key to the success of any business and makes this workshop very important to any person who owns a business or thinking of starting a business.
The second session of this workshop will be dedicated to recognition and business networking to meet or strength relationships with other business professionals so this is a very important finale’ to this workshop series. Bring plenty of business cards and plan to develop relationships with other Leeds area business professionals.

Session 6a:
Financial Management – understanding this critical practice
Financial management is the way you know if you are making a profit. Financial management helps you decide what you can afford in terms of store or office location, inventory purchases, employees, and equipment. You need sound financial information to set your prices and select your vendors. Financial management gives you the tools to plan for overall business growth, for diversification of your product lines, or for reaching new markets. Financial management helps you decide which products, services, and markets are profitable. During this session, BancorpSouth will explain all of the aspects relating to financial management so you will be able to apply financial management practices, rules, and tools most relevant for your business.
This module provides an overview of business financial management and is designed to help participants to understand how financial
management can benefit their business.
After completing this module, the participants will be able to:
Understand the essentials of financial management.
Apply financial management practices, rules, and tools most relevant for small businesses.
Prepare for common business financing needs: start-up finance, working capital, and fixed asset loans.

Session 6b:
Workshop Certifications & Business Networking Reception
This module is designed to recognize and award participants for completing the workshop series as well as utilize business networking to build professional relationships.
This is the last workshop of the 6 series workshops that began on January 13, 2015 and end today, March 24, 2015.

This workshop and workshop reception is free to all Chamber Members (pre-registration required) and is also included with the registration for the complete workshop series; otherwise, this workshop registration fee is $10.
