First Responder of the Year

Beginning in 2017, the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce elected to give a deserving person the title of First Responder of the Year. This honor is celebrated at the annual Chamber Awards Luncheon where they receive recognition for their contributions to the community.

Nominations for First Responder of the Year should be submitted to the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce office by mid-November of each year. Kyle Shell was presented with the First Responder of the Year Award for his performance over and beyond the call of duty with the City of Leeds Fire Department.
