Leeds 22nd Annual Creek Bank Festival
Leeds, Al-The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce is finalizing plans for the 22nd Annual Creek Bank Festival scheduled to Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Leeds Memorial Park on Highway 119.

Sweets Bake Off Contest
The day’s festivities will include the Sweets Bakeoff Contest with taste testing by the judges around 11:30 AM. If you have a dessert everyone loves or thinks is unique, then you need to enter this contest and arrive with your dessert around 11:00 AM. Winners will be announced at Noon on the main stage and there is no cost to enter. Get your sweet tooth ready because the sweets will be sold at the festival immediately after the contest.

Mascot Challenge
The 3rd Annual Chick-fil-A Mascot Challenge will begin around 11:00 AM. The Chick-fil-A Cows, Home Depot Homer, Leeds High School Greenie and Sparky are among some of your favorite Mascots who will join the competition again this year on the obstacle course. If your company has a mascot that would like to participate, there’s still room to get in on the action. This is always a fun and exciting segment of the festival entertainment.
Creek Bark Pageant
For dog lovers, the Creek Bark Dog Pageant will be back this year sponsored by the Bass Pro Shop which will highlight dogs of all shapes and sizes which will begin around 2:00 PM. Dogs must be up to date on vaccines to participate. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded.

Lots of additional children’s activities including games, face painting and balloon artist are planned throughout the entire day.
Ultimate Teen Tailgate Party & Hangout
New this year is an Ultimate Teen Tailgate Party & Hangout sponsored by Eden Westside Baptist Church River Campus ELEVATE Student Ministries which will include games such as ladder golf, horse shoes, corn hole, Frisbee and football, photo booth, hangout area with couch, bean bag and cool water to drink.
Creek Bank Festival Entertainment
Our very own Terry Padgett – Elvis Tribute Artist, Stairway Acoustics, Stephanie Maxey and Jessica Lucas with The Music Room students are among the performing vocal artists with entertainment all day long on the main stage including a Moon Pie Eating Contest with RC Cola, sponsored by Michelle Davis Dental. Creek Bank Festival T-Shirts will be available to purchase at $15 each in a variety of sizes.

1st Annual Cruising the Creek Car Show
Also new this year is the 1st Annual Cruising the Creek Car Show in conjunction with the Creek Bank Festival from approximately 9:00 am until 3:00 PM. This event is sponsored by C & C Motor Company to benefit the Backpack Buddies charity.
Wanted: Vendors and Entertainers
Festival Booth Space is available for food, crafts and other types of vendors. Electricity is available on a first come-first serve basis and some booth space is limited to one space per type of vendor, so immediate registration is highly recommended to ensure your participation.
