Leeds Area Chamber Attends Regional BBA Luncheon

The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce was well represented at the Regional Chambers BBA Luncheon at the Birmingham Business Alliance last week.  It was very exciting to see the progress that BBA has made in the last four years in economic development and workforce development in the seven counties that they represent as well as the strides they have made in creating a positive image and brand for Birmingham and Alabama.  As our larger surrounding cities work to bring prosperity, it benefits all of us in the smaller cities and towns.  Jefferson, St. Clair and Shelby counties are included in the seven county territory that Birmingham Business Alliance supports.  For those who are not familiar with the Birmingham Business Alliance, they were formerly the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Development Board who merged to form BBA.

Attending the Regional Chambers BBA Luncheon included Sandra McGuire - Executive Director, Jeff Hudson - Chamber President and Manager of Standard Furniture and Dona Bonnett - Ambassador Chair and owner of adr Business & Marketing Strategies.
