World Games 2022 Nick Sellers April Speaker at Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce next Chamber Luncheon on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Leeds Nick Sellers brings a wide breadth of leadership experience to The World Games 2022 Organizing Committee.

Sellers joins The World Games 2022 on loan from Alabama Power, where he most recently served as vice president of the Mobile Division.

He has deep sports experience from his time as Director of Operations for the Alabama Sports Foundation, where he was responsible for sponsorships, ticketing and operations plans for large-scale events such as the SEC Baseball Tournament, Arby’s Hardwood Classic Invitational and Regions Charity Classic.

In recent years, he has held a variety of leadership positions within Alabama Power and Southern Company, including Senior Vice President of business origination, Senior Vice President of project management & construction, and Vice President of external and regulatory affairs.

Sellers also serves on several community boards. Currently, he is the chairman of the Alabama Sports Council, where he works to oversee all ASC events including the Magic City Classic and the Davis Cup Tennis Invitational. Sellers also serves on the Bryant Jordan Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors and is a Board Emeritus member of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.

After earning his undergraduate from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, Sellers went on to earn his juris doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law.

Sellers and his wife, Julie, are the parents of three children: Annie, Maria and Nicholas.
