Chamber High School Diplomats
The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce provides a High School Diplomat Program for outstanding students who would like to participate.
High School Juniors and Seniors from Leeds High School are eligible to apply for acceptance into this program which teaches these students about the Chamber of Commerce, business and industry, leadership and more. Students go on field trips touring local businesses and industry, volunteer and participate in all Chamber events including the monthly Chamber luncheon.
Students interested in participating would need to make application to the Chamber of Commerce in the Spring of their Sophomore and Junior years.

2025-2026 Diplomat Scholarships Awarded
The 2026 Chamber Diplomat Scholarship recipients are:
• Allison Alvarez — committed to University of Alabama at Birmingham and plans to major in Pre-Professional Design and Technology.
• Colton Moody — committed to Florida State University and plans to major in Finance. Colton also served as the Chamber intern during the 2025-26 school year.
• Tyler Vandiver — plans to major in World Languages and is currently finalizing his college decision.
“The Chamber Diplomat program gives students an opportunity to gain leadership experience, connect with the business community, and serve their hometown in meaningful ways,” said Chamber Board President Steve Karr. “We are proud of these students and excited to see all they accomplish in the future.”
The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Allison, Colton, and Tyler and wishes them continued success as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Diplomat Scholarship 2021-2022
Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that we were able to provide one Diplomat Scholarship to a deserving Diplomat participant for the 2021-2022 school year.
We congratulate the 2022 Chamber Diplomat Scholarship Winner: Brianna Ward
Each graduating Diplomat participant received a certificate and gift card for their participation.
This year's scholarship was sponsored by Lehigh Cement Company.
Diplomat Scholarships 2018-2019
Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that we were able to provide three Diplomat Scholarships to deserving Diplomat participants for the 2018-2019 school year. We congratulate the 2019 Chamber Diplomat Scholarship Winners: Dalton Cates - $1000 scholarship, Kathryn Rice - $500 scholarship & Camell Looney - $250 scholarship.
