Join the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce for our July Chamber Luncheon. We are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Hunter Lake, Birmingham Investor. Our meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 15 at 11:45 a.m. at Leeds First Baptist Church Family Life Center. Lunch is $12 payable at the door. Please make your reservations by Tuesday, June 15th.

About the Speaker:
Hunter Lake was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2006 with a B.S. in Biology. His love for construction began with a Section 8 housing program in Birmingham, Alabama. He was introduced to the brewing process from one of the program's home buyers. Hunter used this knowledge to open Avondale Brewing Company with his brother. He also rehabilitated several buildings in the area, creating a new entertainment district for Alabama.
Hunter's passion for entertainment and construction compelled him to open The Backyard in Leeds, a family-oriented drive-in theater, brewpub, and putt putt course. When Hunter is not working in Leeds, he focuses on his various demolition and real estate development projects. He lives in Birmingham with his wife, Catherine, their 10 month old daughter, Liz, and their dog, Ricky.
