Join the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce for our November Chamber Luncheon. We are excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Mike Raita, Birmingham Regional Director for Senator Tommy Tuberville. Our meeting is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.on November 18 at Leeds First Baptist Church Family Life Center located at 7481 Parkway Dr. Lunch is $12 payable at the door. Guest Speaker: Mike Raita, Birmingham Regional Director for Senator Tommy Tuberville
Mike Raita serves as Birmingham Regional Director for Senator Tommy Tuberville. A graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Mike spent twenty-eight years of a thirty-five-year career as a broadcast sports journalist covering the people and stories of Central Alabama. A recipient of several Emmys and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award, Mike has worked as an instructor at the University of West Alabama and serves as the Executive Director of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in Talladega County. He is a member of the Birmingham Barons Hall of Fame and serves on the board of the Reed Foundation. He lives in Chelsea, AL with his wife and their three dogs.
