Join us for our August chamber luncheon next Thursday, August 15th at 11:45 a.m. at the Leeds First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Our speaker will be D’Undray Peterson with LiftFund. Please make your reservations by Tuesday, August 13th. Our luncheon will be catered by China Wok. Cost is $12 and payable at the door by cash or credit.

More information about D’Undray Peterson:
D’Undray Peterson currently possesses over 18 years of achievements during his career of providing dedicated services to the students at The University of West Alabama and Shelton State Community College and clients at Tuscaloosa’s One Place and currently at LiftFund. His background consists of comprehensive relationship and business education training, extensive experience in providing individual and group counseling/guidance in areas such as admissions, academic, personal, career, graduate school and financial aid, and experience in providing strength-based support to families while promoting self-sufficiency.
Mr. Peterson is a graduate of The University of West Alabama in Livingston, AL where he received a B.S. in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling/Psychology. He also received an Ed.S. in Community Counseling from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Mr. Peterson is very active in the community as well as his local church; where he serves as the Director of Christian Education as well as serves as Lead for the Tech/Media Team. In addition to these roles, he is also the owner of Go Get It, LLC, a motivational speaking and personal development business. He has helped hundreds of individuals achieve better communications skills, resolve conflict, enhance their businesses and achieve greatness.
In D’Undray’s current position with LiftFund, he delivers business education, one-on-one business counseling and technical assistance throughout the Delta Region to existing LiftFund clients as well as other community members.
