Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Diplomat Scholarship

Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce awarded a $500 Diplomat scholarship to one Leeds High School graduate. Dona Bonnett on the Chamber Executive Board presented the scholarship at the Leeds High School Awards Ceremony on Sunday to Chamber Diplomat Brianna Ward.  Also, recognized for their participation in this year’s High School Diplomat Leadership Program was Brody Goodman, Joseph Hume, Cassie Lewis, Miguel Luna and Pedro Martinez. All students received a Certificate of Participation and a gift card.

Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce is a big supporter of our local school system and providing a high school leadership program and awarding a scholarship to a deserving graduate are just a couple of ways to show that support.
