Fifth Annual UAB Dentistry Cares Event

Fifth annual UAB Dentistry Cares event to be held this month: The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry will host our fifth UAB Dentistry Cares Community Day this month.

Together with alumni, university and community partners, UAB Dentistry volunteers will provide one day of free dental care to poor and underserved patients who have difficulty accessing critical dental services. These patients are primarily connected to us through local agencies and shelters. The event helps raise awareness of oral health barriers for low-income adults and helps improve the oral health of the citizens of Alabama and beyond – something we are passionate about at UAB Dentistry.

Our daylong event will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at the UAB School of Dentistry located at 1919 7th Avenue South in Birmingham. If you are in the area, we welcome you to stop by any time that day. The press will be received between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
