Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts Alabama Governor Kay Ivey | The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce was so honored to host our Alabama State Governor Kay Ivey to speak at their April chamber luncheon to talk about projects our state government is working on to continue to improve our quality of life here from our schools to jobs, low unemployment and more. The Governor attended the luncheon at the invitation of State Representative Dickie Drake who serves the Leeds area and she received a warm welcome with approximately 200 attending.

Among others in attendance were St. Clair County Commission Chairman Paul Manning, his wife, Marie Manning who is on the St. Clair County School Board and a group from the Republican Women of North Shelby County.
Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the 200 people who attended this month's event and each of those who made this event possible from our board of directors, ambassadors and diplomats and staff for their hard work to Leeds Water Works who helped with set up, Public Works for parking, Police Department for security, Leeds First United Methodist Church for hosting us, our wonderful kitchen ladies who do such a great job and Bluegrass BBQ who catered such a wonderful lunch.
