Elizabeth C. Gregory Ph.D., L.P.C., NCC, R.N., PMHCNS-BC with Gregory Counseling & Consulting, LLC here in Leeds will be the March Business Spotlight for the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and will have the opportunity to speak at the March Chamber Luncheon next week to educate us more about her business.
Elizabeth Gregory Ph.D. is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice, Gregory Counseling & Consulting, LLC. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She completed her PhD in Health Administration with a focus on Nursing Management and Leadership.
Dr. Gregory provides individual and couples counseling for a wide array of emotional and mental health issues. Most private insurance covers the cost for counseling related to a medical condition, grief recovery, anxiety or depression. Many clients can also find coverage for counseling through their employer sponsored Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Dr. Gregory is also a Registered Nurse with national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist- Board Certified (PMHCNS-BC) through ANCC and state licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Mental Health Nursing. This combined focus allows a more holistic approach in counseling with the awareness of how underlying health issues may be affecting emotions.
