Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Awards Luncheon
Leeds, Al- The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce will host an Awards Luncheon on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:45 AM at the Leeds First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
Outgoing 2014 Board Members and 2015 Board of Directors will be recognized. Ambassador of the Year Award will be presented. Corporate Partners and Sponsors will be recognized.
The Chamber is continually changing and adapting to the needs of its Membership and the Leeds area community and more exciting changes will be made throughout 2015.
One new program that has been created is the FAST TRACK FOR YOUR BUSINESS – Effective Strategies for Growth Workshop series which begins this month. The Corporate Ambassador Program just completed its first full year with over 20 companies represented. Also, Chamber Members now have the ability to modify their own Member Listings on the Chamber website as well as post Job Listing, Events, Hot Deals and Member-to-Member Discounts which gives each company more visible exposure.
Another change is that other awards which were traditionally presented in January each year such as Teacher of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Non-Profit Organization/Club of the Year will be presented in several new formats through-out 2015.
The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce works very hard all during the year to support the local businesses, schools and community and is very excited about the changes for the future to better serve our mission.
