Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat 2020
We are very excited to announce that Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat 2020 is scheduled for Friday, October 30th from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and sponsored by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce.
Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat provides safe and fun event for all children in our area to participate in each year and all businesses in the greater Leeds area are encouraged to participate.
Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat
You do not have to be a Chamber Member to participate in this event and there is no fee to participate – just plan to bring LOTS OF CANDY.
If your company is not located in the designated downtown area, you may sign up to participate and be issued a designated space to set up.

Event Guidelines for Participating Businesses:
- if your business is not located downtown leeds on the parkway, we will be happy to designate a space for you to set up to give out candy and your promotional items.
- please note that we traditionally have over 1000 children who participate each year so please bring plenty of candy for this number of children.
- this is a great way to showcase your business and show your support for the community by participating in this downtown trick or treat event to provide a safe place for children to trick or treat.
- event guidelines with covid-19, please wear masks, place your candy in children’s bags rather than allowing them to get their own candy, everyone is encouraged to travel in the same direction from Chamber office toward downtown and then back up the opposite side with proper social distancing.

Leeds Announces Their Annual Downtown Trick r’ Treat!
Leeds, Al- The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce announces their Annual Downtown Trick r’ Treat scheduled for Halloween afternoon – Friday, October 30 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Many Downtown Businesses and other local businesses plan to participate by providing candy to the children between these hours to provide a safe environment for kids to Trick r’ Treat.
The 2020 downtown trick or treating event will be just a little different with COVID-19 guidelines. The area designated for this event is directly on the Parkway from Sonic through downtown Leeds to the last red light at the corner of the gazebo and Leeds Theatre and Arts Center. Masks are required and one-way trick or treating is planned. Everyone is encouraged to travel in the same direction from the chamber of commerce office toward downtown and then, back up the opposite side of the street and maintain proper social distancing. Businesses should put the candy in children’s bags rather than allowing the children to get their own candy. For more information about the current COVID-19 recommendations, please visit www.cdc.gov.
This has proven to be a fun time for all of the children who participate and this year is no different so please mark your calendars to be part of this exciting event.
Companies who are located directly on the Parkway between these landmarks will set up in front of their business. Those who are not located directly on the Parkway will be designated an area to set up. You do not have to be a Chamber Member or located in the downtown area to participate, but registration is required through the Chamber to coordinate.
