Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat was a Huge Success!
Leeds, Al- The Annual Leeds Downtown Trick or Treat hosted by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce was a huge success.
Record crowds of children with their parents lined up the streets throughout downtown Leeds on Parkway Drive stretching from Sonic through downtown Leeds through the last red light at the corner of the gazebo and Leeds Theatre and Arts Center as well as extending past the railroad tracks to LA Salon on Halloween afternoon.
Many Downtown Businesses along with other local businesses participated and set up tables on the streets to provide candy and treats all afternoon providing a safe environment for the kids to trick or treat this year.
The excitement included the Leeds Theatre and Arts Center who provided refreshments and photo ops for the children with special animated characters. Elisabeth Cramer, Miss Leeds Area and Melody Mills, Miss Outstanding Teen also made themselves available on the street at the Chamber office for candy and for photo ops as well.
