It was an awesome day for a groundbreaking of the new Leeds Primary School!  Leeds Primary School is scheduled to welcome students at the beginning of the 2016-17 school year.

LPS is scheduled to welcome students at the beginning of the 2016-17 school yea *Pictured above are City of Leeds Mayor David Miller, Representative Dickie Drake, City Council Members: Devoris Ragland, Craig Wadsworth and Johnny Dutton, Board of Education members Kathy Dutton and Scott Sisk, LCS Superintendent John J. Moore, LES teachers representing Pre-K to 2nd grade (which LPS will soon be home to), LES Principal Lisa Shaddix along with LES Assistant Principal Wes Graham and construction workers all celebrating the triumph of years of hard work coming to fruition.
