Leeds Shop Local and Win

Dear Chamber Member:

The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off a new program for the holiday season. We call it “Shop Local and Win,” and it involves rewarding people who shop local for the holidays. The program will run November 1 – December 31, 2023.

The purpose is to get people into local stores to shop for the holidays. It also helps people to see how the Chamber helps businesses and to see value in membership.

Your customers will email or drop off their receipts to the Chamber. A purchase from any chamber member business in Leeds earns two opportunities to win a prize in a drawing for a weekly prize. A purchase from a non-member in Leeds earns one opportunity. The first drawing will be held on Friday, November 10.

We also ask, if you can, to take photos each week of people making their purchases at your business to possibly use in our social media. You may email them to us at diane.leedsareachamber@gmail.com.

Attached to this email is a graphic we’d love for you to share on your social media to help us promote this program. There is also a flyer in two different formats that you can print and/or email to your customers to share information about the program. The more we promote, the more excitement it will create.

We are asking for prizes with an estimated value of at least $25 to be donated by chamber members. In return for your prize donations, you will receive participation publicity throughout this campaign. The number of prizes awarded each week is contingent upon the number of prizes donated by chamber member businesses. Non-member businesses are not allowed to donate prizes.
