Lehigh Cement will be hiring Servicemen for our Leeds Plant Operations.

Listed below is a brief job description:

The following applies to SERVICEMAN FUNCTIONS:  applies to all the functions listed below associated with each task:  housekeeping, PM duties, lubrication, minor repairs, and routing functions associated with each task:

·        Proper use of various powered and manual tools such as jackhammer, clay digger, floor sweeper, steam cleaner, mill and shop crane hoists, air lance, basic carpentry tools, shovels, pick bars, scrapers, hand trucks, wheelbarrow, etc.

·        Operation of small and medium material haulage equipment, including pickup truck, forklift, and skid steering loader.

·        Operation of small and large mobile crane and manlift equipment.

·        Operation of water truck and road sweeper, and demonstrated proficiency in tasks associated with road dust control.

·        Demonstrated proficiency in tasks associated with required janitorial maintenance in bathhouse, lunchroom and other plant areas

·        Demonstrated proficiency in tasks associated with removal and replacement of grinding media from finishing mills and operation of ball sorting equipment.

·        Demonstrated proficiency in tasks associated with the use of cements or mortar for repairs to concrete installations.

·        Demonstrated proficiency in tasks associated with the issuance and control of departmental tools and maintenance of the tool room.
