Rails & Ales Welcomes New Owners with Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, August 20 at Rails & Ales, located at 1210 6th Street in Leeds, to celebrate the bar’s new ownership and future plans.

Mayor Pro Tem Kenneth Washington cut the ribbon on behalf of Mayor David Miller and the City of Leeds, extending congratulations to new owners Judith and Buddy Jones and their sons, Dakota and Skyler. Washington applauded their commitment to carrying on the Rails & Ales tradition while ushering in a new era of growth and hospitality for the local community.

A strong crowd of Chamber board members, city leaders, and area business professionals attended the event, offering support and warm wishes to the Jones family.

The new owners introduced their talented bartender team—Mandy Rae, Veronica Paladino, Eric Watters, Allyson Busby, and Amber Vines—who are ready to serve customers with friendly service and fresh offerings. Judith and Buddy Jones noted that changes are already underway, with new products being added to enhance the customer experience and grow their loyal base.

Rails & Ales looks forward to continuing its role as a favorite gathering place in downtown Leeds under its new leadership. For more information, please visit https://railesandales.beer.
