Karen Moore joined Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore, P.C. in 2002 after completing a Masters of Accountancy from Auburn University.  She specializes in small business accounting and tax services as well as estate planning. She is a member of the AICPA, ASCPA, and has served as Past President of the Birmingham Chapter of Young CPAs as well as the Past President of the Alabama Board of Young CPAs.  In 2010 Karen received the Outstanding Young CPA Award and in 2011 she was named as the Emerging Leader by the Women to Watch from the ASCPA.  She currently serves the ASCPA as an Educational Foundation Board Member and a Birmingham Chapter Advisor.

Karen has been a camper, leader, staff and volunteer at Camp Winnataska and currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer.  She has been involved with Camp Winnataska since the late 80s when she was a camper.

Karen has previously been involved in various community organizations including Make-A-Wish Young Advisory Board, the Exceptional Foundation Junior Board, and Junior Achievement.

Karen will be speaking on the topic of Tax Law Changes with the SECURE Act.
