RSVP now for our September Chamber Luncheon scheduled for 11:45 am on Thursday, September 15 at Leeds First Baptist Church. Our speaker will be John Moore, Leeds City Schools Superintendent. Lunch is $15 payable at the door. Please make your reservations by Tuesday, September 13th.

About Our Speaker:
About Our Speaker: Meet John Moore. John has served as the Leeds Superintendent of Education since 2009. John earned a B.S. and Masters degree from Auburn University, an Educational Specialist degree from UAB, and a Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. John is a licensed attorney. During his tenure as Superintendent, the Leeds City Schools have seen a 50% growth in enrollment, a 35% increase in the graduation rate, and the addition of pre-kindergarten and Advanced Placement courses. John and his wife, Karen, have three children, all who attend school in Leeds. John currently serves on the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
