Leeds Summer Event Series

The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce invites the entire community to enjoy a sizzling lineup of family-friendly entertainment this summer with their Leeds Summer Events series, held Fridays throughout the summer in downtown Leeds. The series is a partnership between the Chamber and the City of Leeds.

Each Friday evening kicks off with food trucks and games from 6 to 8PM, followed by a free outdoor movie at dusk. The movies will be shown in the concrete parking lot at Parkway Drive and 8th Street in downtown Leeds. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for a magical movie night under the stars.

This year’s Summer Movie Series, themed “Summer Lights & Movie Nights,” includes:

In addition to the movie nights, the Chamber is pleased to host the annual Kiddie Day Parade & Water Wars on Friday, June 28, from 10AM to 12PM at Leeds Memorial Park (1159 Montevallo Road SW in Leeds). This fun-filled morning features a “Patriotic” theme, and children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, trikes, and wagons in red, white, and blue to join the festive parade. Afterwards, kids can stay to enjoy exciting water activities.
